She was the antithesis, the balm that gave Leif comfort. But where Leif brought the darkness, Mia ushered in the light. Jackson managed to bring me ALL the feels in this story. Having said that… Oh, be still my beating heart! Leif is the perfect embodiment of the brooding, bad boy rocker! He\’s full of terrible secrets and overwhelming guilt…makes any woman with a set of ovaries want to heal and love him! There\’s just something about the dark edginess of a man that just grabs a hold of me and won\’t let go. But once I found my groove, I became mesmerized with all of the characters and their relationships. In all honesty, I teetered between 4 and 5 stars at the beginning because the story is written in a way where I found the rhythm of the words a bit hard to connect with. But deadly secrets stand in the way of their happy ending. With Mia and Leif now living in the same house, their attraction becomes irresistible. Lyrik\’s band is in need of a temporary drummer for the summer so they call on Leif to join the Sunder band. When trouble finds her, Mia takes her two adorable kids to stay with her brother in Savannah. Kiss the Stars is a spin-off from the Bleeding Stars series but is a complete standalone so don\’t worry about jumping in and experiencing the awesomeness that is Leif Godwin! Mia West is the younger sister of rockstar, Lyrik.
